On an action-packed day in the Sixer Market, it was all about Dom Bess, who strode to a 12% increase courtesy of a fifer against the Sri Lankans in the first Test. Although Bess would count himself a touch lucky given the nature of the dismissals, his fantasy shareholders wouldn't be too unhappy with what unfolded on Day 1. The likes of Kusal Mendis and Angelo Mathews couldn't get going against the English offie with the hosts being bundled out for cheap. England, in reply, has started off strongly with Joe Root scoring a fifty as well. All eyes will be on Wanindu Hasaranga with the pitch turning square at the Galle International Stadium! As for the BBL action, it was business as usual for Joe Burns and Chris Lynn, both of whom registered a fantasy price increase of 10% each. While Lynn notched up his fourth fifty of the season, Burns put in a thrilling performance towards the end to get his side home. Burns, who was available for a bargain ahead of the game, might prove to be a template for many fantasy shareholders in terms of value-for-money buys. Speaking of such fantasy assets in the Sixer Market, two are in action today as Matt Renshaw and Nic Maddinson take to the MCG. Are they worth the investment? Let's find out in the latest Daily Insight!Boom or Bust for Renshaw and Maddinson at the MCG!Matt Renshaw has been a curious case in this year's BBL. The southpaw had a prolific season with the Heat in 2019-20 as he aced the middle-order role. In a similar position with the Strikers, Renshaw has struggled to get going with a match score average of just 33.17 in this year's BBL. He has also been promoted up the order, but this hasn't translated to anything substantial yet. Although his form isn't too great, his fantasy stocks, priced at 38.80 Sixer Coins per Share, provide many upsides. In addition to Renshaw batting higher up the order, he is expected to roll his arm over for a few overs with Rashid Khan not available. While Danny Briggs is a decent spinner himself, Renshaw would ideally provide a cushion and quite possibly pick a wicket or two as well. With T20 being a very funny format, it can just take an over or two to completely turn things around for Renshaw!Similarly, Nic Maddinson has also turned it up with the ball in hand. Maddinson has already picked a few wickets and has come up with a sizeable contribution with the bat. His price, although is currently at 32.70 Sixer Coins per Share, is already up by 20% in the BBL. At the MCG, where the spinners will have a say in the proceedings, his part-time spin should play in the middle overs. In fact, Maddinson could even play as the second spinner in the side and also contribute with the bat, making it double the reward for the southpaw. Given that two batting all-rounders, who are bound to have a say in all departments, are going head-to-head, there's undoubtedly an upside worth exploiting with Renshaw and Maddinson!Smith and Labuschagne At It Again! Trading at 51.50 Sixer Coins and 47.60 Sixer Coins! The final Test between India and Australia is underway. Although the Aussies wouldn't be too pleased with David Warner's dismissal, the duo of Smith and Labuschagne is already at work with fifty partnership at the time of writing. While Labuschagne has looked a touch iffy, that hasn't been the case with Steve Smith, who has looked very fluent and has only crossed the 50-match score barrier. Against an inexperienced side, the onus will be on Smith to deliver in the Market once again as Australia chase a series win at the Gabba. But you never know with the Indians, especially with Mohammed Siraj, who picked the first wicket of the day, looking in fine form! With two Tests and one exciting BBL clash on the horizon, there's certainly a lot to the Sixer Market this week. Right from bargain buys to stars like Steve Smith and Joe Root, the Market has it all! Who are you going to buy? Watch out for new supply at 2:00 PM IST.
