It wasn't just about the power-hitting as Pooran managed to add weight to his wicket at times as well. The reverse encounter against SRH saw Pooran score less than 10 runs as per expectation as he took the innings deep and ensured that KXIP had a defendable target in place. Although his wicket value aggregate of 6.06 doesn't seem much, it is a big boost for Pooran, who was accused of throwing away his wicket at untimely moments.
