He led Team Abu Dhabi to a playoff finish, with the southpaw himself scoring a quick-fire fifty in one of the league games. While there is a difference in the two formats, Gayle's experience should make up for whatever preparation he lacks. Also, there aren't many in the world who can boast of a record such as Chris Gayle's in this format. With a near 22% increase in his last franchise league appearance, i.e. in the IPL 2020, Gayle would be itching to replicate the same for the Gladiators!
