In less than 48 hours, the much-awaited England-India T20I series kickstarts with the competition for stocks at an all-time high. Be it with Virat Kohli or Dawid Malan, fantasy shareholders are leaving no stone unturned. However, there is a lot of action going on elsewhere as well. The star of the Market on Wednesday was Aiden Markram, who saw a massive increase of 17% against the Knights. Markram scored a double-hundred to hand his fantasy shareholders a handsome profit, while Karunaratne and Pollard also shined in the first innings of the West Indies vs Sri Lanka first ODI. The Mumbai Indians vice-captain Kieron Pollard was the main talking point courtesy of an infamous appeal for Danushka Gunathilaka's wicket, but he starred with the ball in hand and does look good for the long run too. Speaking of Pollard and the Mumbai Indians, two superstars of the Mumbai franchise, Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan, will likely make their debuts over the next few weeks for India. But how viable are they in the Market? Let's find out!The SKY is Blue, and so is Kishan! Trading at 65.20 Sixer Coins and 66.20 Sixer Coins per Share!Going back in time to the 2018 IPL Auctions, Mumbai Indians had a lot on their plate. For the first time in a few years, MI fielded two uncapped talents in the top four. While this didn't yield the sort of dividends, the then-three time champions would have liked, over the next three years, the duo of Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan have grown in leaps and bounds. First off comes Suryakumar Yadav! Earmarked as a finisher by Virender Sehwag and KKR during his breakout year in 2014, Surya was always flirting with greatness without making a definitive statement. However, this changed during his current spell with the Mumbai Indians. The right-hander has scored the most runs among any Mumbai Indians player over the last three years, with his tally of 480 runs in IPL 2020 featuring the top ten too! His match score average of 61.47 earned him a number of admirers, who were left devastated after he was snubbed for the Australian tour. However, Surya wasn't to be denied as he is now set for a maiden cap in the T20I format. It is a story of similar sorts for former U-19 prodigy Ishan Kishan. While his U-19 opening partner Rishabh Pant continues to scale new heights in the Test format, Kishan has had to wait for his opportunity. After two lacklustre seasons, Ishan Kishan's time finally came in 2020. Despite sitting out of the first few games, Kishan's first outing in the IPL 2020 saw him score 99 runs and nearly pull off a Houdini act against RCB! While the tailed off in the middle, Kishan rose to the occasion in Rohit Sharma's absence as he achieved a near 66% increase in his fantasy stock price. His match score average of 68.85 was the highest among wicket-keepers, holding him in good stead. With the southpaw impressing in the domestic circuit as well, his selection to the Indian side is undoubtedly justified, although there are doubts as to how both SKY and Kishan will fit in the set-up.As of now, the Indian set-up is backed with accumulators in the top-order. Virat Kohli and the think-tank are on the lookout for finishers and batsmen who can up the ante against the spinners in the middle-overs. This is where both Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan come into play. Both Surya and Kishan boast of strike-rates over 140 in IPL 2020. Considering that both of them managed the middle over phase quite well for Mumbai, they have been earmarked as possible options. As for Surya, he is as versatile as they come. He can easily slot in as the finisher in the side if India decide to go in with an extra spinner in the side. While both of them have the skill-set to succeed in this format and at this stage, an opportunity is what their fantasy shareholders would also be on the lookout for. But one thing's for certain. This is certainly not the last we see of Kishan or Suryakumar Yadav on the international stage! With the India vs England T20Is set to begin tomorrow, the race for fantasy stocks is on! Who are you going to back in the build-up to the IPL? Watch out for new supply at 2:00 PM IST!
